LinkGate - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of LinkGate (“LinkGate”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data in connection with https://linkgate.gg and the services offered through it.
1. Who we are
The operator of LinkGate is responsible for personal data on https://linkgate.gg. Contact: contact.linkgate@gmail.com.
2. What this covers
This policy covers visitors, people with an account, and people who pay for Premium. It describes the data we need to run the site, keep it safe, and handle billing.
3. What we collect
- Account details you give us, such as your email address, username, and login.
- Google account data, if you choose Sign in with Google. That is described in the next section.
- Payment details handled by Stripe when you buy Premium. We do not store your full card number.
- Technical details, such as IP address, browser, device, and the page that sent you.
- Product data, such as the links you create and basic usage of the site.
- Messages you send us.
4. Google user data
If you choose Sign in with Google, LinkGate asks Google for the basic account details needed to create and open your LinkGate account. We access your Google account email address, your name, your profile picture, and the Google account identifier Google gives us for that sign-in. We request only the openid, email, and profile scopes. We do not ask for Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or any other Google data.
We use that Google user data only to create your LinkGate account, sign you in, show your name on the account, and send you messages about the account. We store it with the rest of your account so you can sign in again. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, credit decisions, lending, or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not transfer it to data brokers or information resellers.
Google provides the sign-in. Supabase stores the account. Vercel hosts the website. Resend sends account email. Those companies process the data only so LinkGate can run. Stripe processes Premium payments and does not receive your Google profile for that. We also disclose Google user data if the law, a court, or a public authority requires it. Our use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is protected in transit with HTTPS. Access to the stored account is limited to operating LinkGate. We keep Google user data while your account exists and we need it to provide the account. You can ask us to delete it by emailing contact.linkgate@gmail.com. When we no longer need it, and no law requires us to keep it, we delete it or strip it so it no longer identifies you.
5. Why we use it
We use this data to run your account, provide Premium, pay earnings that are due, keep the site secure, and meet tax and record-keeping duties. Where a law such as the GDPR applies, the basis is contract, a legal duty, legitimate interest, or consent, depending on the case.
6. Payments
Stripe processes Premium payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy for the card data it handles. See https://stripe.comPrivacy Policy.
8. Other countries
Some of those companies are outside your country. Where data leaves the EU or EEA, we use the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contract clauses.
9. How long we keep it
We keep data while we need it to run the account, and longer when tax or accounting law says we must. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or strip it so it no longer identifies you.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, a limit on processing, or a copy you can take elsewhere. You can also object, or withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Email contact.linkgate@gmail.com. We may need to confirm it is you. We aim to answer within 30 days.
12. Children
LinkGate is not for children under 13. If you think a child under 13 gave us personal data, email contact.linkgate@gmail.com, and we will delete it.
13. Changes
We can update this policy. The date at the top is the date of the latest version. The current page is always at https://linkgate.ggPrivacy Policy.
